How to join a ride train on iLunch

How do I find a ride train on iLunch?

Through the link the organizer shared with you. Ride trains are private: they aren't listed or searchable, and the link (it looks like ilunch.com/r/ followed by a short name) is the only way in. If you lost it, check your texts, email, or the group chat, or ask the organizer to resend it.

Do I need an account to drive?

No. There's no account, password, or app. You open the link and claim a ride with your name and email. A phone number is optional.

How do I claim a ride?

Open the ride train link and look through the listed rides. Pick one that fits your schedule, tap to claim it, and enter your name and email. The ride then shows as covered so two drivers don't turn up.

What will I need to know as the driver?

Each ride shows the date and pickup time, and the organizer can add the pickup address, where the rider is going, and notes such as mobility needs. Read the details before you claim, and if something is unclear, contact the organizer before the day.

Will I get a reminder?

Yes. iLunch emails drivers a reminder the day before the ride and again on the day, with the pickup details.

Can I start a ride train for someone I know?

Yes. It's free to start one at ilunch.com/start-ride, then share the link with the people who offered to drive.
